Aruba’s Inefficacy in Sewage and Waste Management
Aruba’s environmental challenges, including inadequate waste management and sewage systems, pose significant threats to the island’s sustainability and attractiveness. Despite government departments citing resource limitations, the real issues lie in bureaucratic inertia and a lack of accountability. Privatization attempts and the absence of emission standards further exacerbate the situation, necessitating urgent and genuine reforms for a sustainable future.
