Who should attend
Aruba vacation rental owners and property managers, including owners abroad. The session suits those who want to understand the registration process and their own position before deciding what to do.
What you will understand
- What has been announced, and what is already required by law.
- Why registration, permits, tolerance and legalisation are four different things.
- How existing operations, unresolved permissions and investments not yet operating differ.
- What information and declarations the registration asks for, and what to examine before submitting.
- Which privacy questions to ask, and which documents to gather.
- When your circumstances call for separate individual advice.
The seminar distinguishes throughout between established law, government announcements, unresolved questions and Dr. Gomez’s own analysis. It does not recommend that every owner register, or that every owner refuse.
Agenda
| Min | Topic | You leave able to |
|---|---|---|
| 0–10 | Current position: announcements, voluntary registration, existing duties and proposed changes | Separate what exists from what is planned |
| 10–25 | Existing rights, permits, ROPV and property use | Understand why owners have different legal positions |
| 25–35 | Registration: fields, declarations, documents and privacy | Know what to examine before submitting |
| 35–50 | Three owner situations and practical choices | Recognise the facts needed for a decision |
| 50–70 | Moderated questions | Resolve common points without exposing confidential cases |
| 70–75 | Closing checklist and next steps | Leave with a concrete preparation list |
Three fictional owner situations are worked through: an established operation with permits; an operating property with unresolved permissions; and an investment committed where operation has not yet started.
