New compliance legislation as early as January 1st, 2009
The Parliament of Aruba is expected to vote on the approval of certain changes in the law that will broaden the scope of activities and service providers that will be subject to compliance/regulatory overview. Under the new law service providers will include amongst others: realtors, jewelers, brokers and high valued products. Rijksministerraad stemt in met Rijkswet Gemeenschappelijk Hof van Justitie
De Rijksministerraad heeft ingestemd met een voorstel van Rijkswet dat de organisatie van de rechtspraak regelt voor Curaçao, Aruba, Sint Maarten en voor Bonaire, Sint Eustatius en Saba met ingang van het moment waarop de staatkundige verhoudingen binnen het Koninkrijk zijn gewijzigd (Rijkswet Gemeenschappelijk Hof van Justitie).
